This 6-week course is intended for individuals that have had advanced gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) and advanced shielded metal arc welding (SMAW). Trainees will weld on pipe using both processes and learn Introduction to Pipe Fitting. Trainees have the opportunity to gain certifications from third party testing.

*** REQUIRED EXPERIENCE - trainee to have basic experience in welding open butt bevel plates using the SMAW and GTAW process provided by National Welding Academy, high school, post-secondary or documented on the job training.
